Pagosa Rotary rallies to help flood-affected neighbors
The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs is accepting financial donations through the Pagosa Rotary Community Assistance Fund (PRCAF) to help individuals and families in Archuleta County experiencing hardship as a result of recent flooding.
The PRCAF will match the first $20,000 in donations received for flood relief, dollar for dollar, to help local neighbors recover. The PRCAF is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that has been serving Archuleta County since 2012.
Community members wishing to contribute can donate online at: https://pagosaspringsrotary.org/donations.
Donations may also be mailed to: Pagosa Rotary CAF, P.O. Box 685, Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. Please write “Flood Relief” in the memo line of your check.
Guided by Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” the fund reflects the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors when it matters most. Pagosa Rotary will work with local residents and community partners to identify pressing needs and provide practical assistance to neighbors impacted by the flooding. The goal is to direct support where it can make the greatest difference for individuals and families facing hardship.
Flooding can leave families facing unexpected challenges, from damage to homes and personal belongings to the loss of essential supplies and everyday necessities. Through this relief effort, Pagosa Rotary hopes to ease some of these burdens and help families move forward.
In times of hardship, the strength of Archuleta County shines through the generosity and compassion of its people. Together, we can help our neighbors recover, rebuild and move forward.
