CRISIS TRACK: If your property was directly impacted by the recent flooding in Archuleta County, please take a few minutes to complete the Crisis Track Survivors Portal. This online reporting tool allows residents to report property damage and immediate unmet needs resulting from the flooding. Your information will help officials assess the extent of the damage and better understand the needs of our community.

Please note: This portal is for reporting damage and needs. It is not an application for financial assistance.

EVACUATION ZONES: All low-lying and flood prone areas along the San Juan, Rio Blanco, Navajo and Piedra Rivers remain under an Evacuation Order.

WELFARE CHECKS: Sheriff’s Office deputies and National Guard personnel continue to be in the community checking on homes and residents, and red or yellow flags are still being placed on homes and property. These flags indicate the property has been checked, so please do not remove any flags or tape.

ON-GOING RESPONSE EFFORTS: As of 9 p.m. on Oct. 28, responders from the Colorado National Guard, Search and Rescue, Division of Fire Prevention and Control, and Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office deputies have conducted 60 missions and made 441 contacts, resulting in the evacuation of 49 people and 34 animals. A 17-person Incident Management Team, sponsored by the Colorado Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, is also on-scene to support response efforts.
