Here is your chance to own a Tinguely original.
On Sunday, Aug. 11, Dr. Roy Tinguely, who is one of the six dancers for the Seeds of Learning fundraiser Dancing with the Pagosa Stars, will be holding a public auction of his personal work.
In addition to his obvious interest in painting and ballroom dancing, Tinguely is one of our surgeons at the Pagosa Springs Medical Center.
As part of his effort to raise important funds for Seeds of Learning, he will be holding this auction at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, 2313 Eagle Drive, in the lobby following the Thingamajig Theatre Company’s Sunday matinee performance of “Escape to Margaritaville.”
Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, with a cash bar, while patrons preview and bid on Tinguely’s colorful and creative works.
The auction will begin at 6 p.m. on Aug. 11. There will be approximately 10 to 15 of Tinguely‘s creations. These can be previewed at the Center for the Arts next week.
All proceeds will go to support Seeds of Learning, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) early education program that serves many of our underprivileged and at risk children in our community.
One of Tinguely’s pieces has been created uniquely incorporating the thumbprints from some of the Seeds of Learning children.
Please come for the afternoon of fun at our wonderful Thingamajig Theatre and stay for the art auction to support Tinguely’s efforts to raise the much-needed funds for the children at Seeds of Learning.
