The Pagosa Peak Genealogical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting this Saturday, Sept. 12.
We will meet from 10 a.m. to noon at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St., in the fellowship hall.
The program will go first at 10 a.m. and will be “Quilts: what they can tell you about your family” by Patricia Joy, from Durango.
After the program there will be a brief business meeting.
The genealogical society meets on the first Saturday of each month (except for August and this September). It hosts guest speakers on a wide range of topics relating to genealogy and history, including the rich history of our area.
