Our Savior Lutheran School (OSLS) is thrilled to announce the inaugural Oktoberfest Fundraiser and Pig Roast that will be held on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The night is sure to be a success, with a full pig roast, live music, open bar, and silent and live auctions. All funds raised will support students at Our Savior Lutheran School.
The full pig roast will be prepared on-site, and will also include several sides, delicious rolls and homemade BBQ sauce. Listen to live music provided by Pagosa’s own Mountain Alibi while you bid on silent auction items and enjoy an Oktoberfest beer, among other selections of beer and wine throughout the evening.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. The silent auction and music will start immediately. The pig roast dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., and, once dinner is served, the silent auction will close, so be sure to come on time to place your bids on a variety of unique items and experiences.
There will be other games throughout the evening, giving every guest a chance to bring something home while supporting a worthy cause.

OSLS is a Classical and Lutheran preschool and school offering classes through eighth grade. OSLS seeks to instill a love for what is true, good and beautiful into every student using holy scriptures and the great books, among other tools, so that they may learn to think rightly, speak well and admire God’s beautiful creation. Students at OSLS are treated as human beings with a soul who are created in the image of God rather than cogs in a greater machine.
OSLS does not take or receive federal or state funding and is reliant upon tuition and private donations. Events such as Oktoberfest are essential in helping OSLS keep tuition costs low and also provide scholarship opportunities for families.
