Archuleta County Fair partnering with Pagosa Springs Medical Center for Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo

Posted

This year’s fair is just around the corner, and the Archuleta County Fair Board is honored to once again announce its partnership with Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) for the Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo on Aug. 2 at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds.

The cost for the rodeo is $10 per adult, $5 per child ages 6-12 and 5 and under are free.

Last year’s event brought in more than $3,000 for PSMC from donations by generous supporters.

Everyone is encouraged to wear pink to support those who have been affected by cancer and their families, as well as the cancer center at PSMC.

This year’s Tough Enough to Wear Pink Rodeo will also feature the “Bald for the Brave” head shaving at 6:30 p.m. The 2024 heroes are Sheriff Mike Le Roux, John Linzalone and Deputy Cody Mattice. Come donate and support these soon-to-be bald heroes.

The fair still needs volunteers. Come join us and meet other community members, have lots of fun and help out with this timeless tradition. Volunteers receive one free event ticket of their choice per shift worked.

Please contact Tabitha Hart, ( 970) 264-8424, or email archuletacountyfair@gmail.com with any questions. Visit archuletacountyfair.com for details on this year’s events and live concerts.

See you at the fair.
