United Way of Southwest Colorado to host 26th annual Archuleta County Golf Tournament

Posted

United Way of Southwest Colorado will be hosting its 26th annual Archuleta County Golf Tournament at the Pagosa Springs Golf Club on Aug. 10.

The format is a four-person scramble, and entry for a team of four is $500.

A delicious lunch, a golfer gift and the opportunity to win numerous prizes are included. Up to 10 teams will win payouts from the golf club. One lucky putter will have a shot to win $10,000 and another lucky player will have an opportunity to hit a hole-in-one for $1 million.

Our local independent United Way helps people in need and helps kids and families to succeed. For example, United Way is a contributor to and fiscal sponsor of the Pagosa Outreach Connection, a collaborative group that pays people’s bills when they get in a financial pinch. United Way, in partnership with Pagosa Community Initiative, recently also helped build a local plan to help better support people with disabilities. United Way also provides AmeriCorps national service members to help nonprofits in Archuleta. These are just three examples of the many efforts made by United Way in Archuleta County.

This tournament has been called, “The most fun golf tournament in Pagosa!”

We invite you to join us, no matter your level of golf, and help support the people of the community. To sign up a team or to sponsor, please see unitedway-swco.org/events, email lynnu@unitedway-swco.org or call (970) 247-9444, ext. 12.
