Pagosa Springs Police Department
Pagosa Springs area residents are being targeted by scammers calling and claiming to be with the Pagosa Springs Police Department. The callers as telling residents they missed jury duty or something along those lines and that they need to send them bail or they will be arrested. The calls appear to come from a Pagosa Springs Town Hall phone number, but it is fictitious.
The Pagosa Springs Police Department or any other law enforcement agency will never call and request money for any reason. If you receive a suspicious call, do not give out any personal information and report the call to the police department by contacting Archuleta County Combined Dispatch at (970) 731-2160.
