Registration is now open for the 15th annual Patty Aragon Green Chile Classic. The event is part of the 17th annual Mountain Chile Cha Cha, which is set for Sept. 23 in Town Park.

Take advantage of the chance to register for the 15th annual Patty Aragon Green Chile Classic. This cook-off is open to chefs from all backgrounds who want to compete for cash prizes and trophies.
However, space is limited, so sign up early.
Home cooks can enter for just $15, while commercial entrants must pay $35.
Winners in the meat, vegetarian and people’s choice categories will each receive $200 and a trophy. Restaurant entrants will land a special award for first place. If you’re a commercial entrant, you’ll also have the opportunity to compete for the people’s choice award, which offers a first-place prize of $200 and medals for second and third place.
The 17th annual Mountain Chile Cha Cha will occur at Town Park on Sept. 23.
This free event will also feature a 5k and 10k trail race, a concert by New Mexico’s award-winning band Sangre Joven, a Mexican beer garden, a margarita contest and tasting, green chile roasted on-site and for sale, and an all-day kids’ corner and delicious food vendors.
