Are you looking for something fun to do this Saturday night? Has it been a while since you have had the opportunity to swing your honey around the dance floor? Do you love pie?
Come with all your friends to the Our Savior Lutheran School Pie Auction, Dinner and Dance with the San Juan Mountain Boys this Saturday, May 18, from 5 to 9 p.m. at 56 Meadows Drive to help raise money for Our Savior Lutheran School.
We will be serving a catered taco dinner from 5 to 6 p.m., the pie auction is from 6 to 7 p.m., and the San Juan Mountain Boys will play approximately 7 to 9 p.m. (starting as soon as the pie auction is over).
A cash bar with beer and wine will be available for those who would like to purchase, and we will have nonalcoholic beverages for those who don’t.
The pie auction will have numerous homemade pies (fruit, cheesecake, chocolate, sweet and savory, and more), all made with love by the families of our students. Jake Montroy will be the auctioneer for this exciting event. We will be accepting cash, check or credit cards to purchase the pies.
The San Juan Mountain Boys have been extremely popular in this area, so please come to dance to the lively music of Ron Lowe on acoustic guitar and Glenn Unrath on bass.
All proceeds from this event go toward the operation of Our Savior Lutheran School, a nonprofit organization that does not receive any federal funding. We currently offer two preschool classes and kindergarten through eighth grade. This event is our main fundraiser that helps us keep tuition costs down, and to continue to provide an excellent Classical Curriculum in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
The Our Savior Lutheran School Pie Auction, Dinner and Dance will be held at 56 Meadows Drive in the Lutheran school gymnasium from 5 to 9 p.m. this Saturday, May 18. Dress is country fancy and all are guaranteed to have a stompin’ good time. Tickets are only $20 per person (and that includes dinner) now and are selling fast; any remaining tickets will be sold at the door, but don’t wait — get them now.
