Whatever your interests -— history, philosophy, humor, mystery or the perfect book for your child — the Friends of the Library’s summer book sale has just what you need.

Come browse with us July 21 and 22 at our convenient downtown location, the Community United Methodist Church at 434 Lewis St.

The sale will be open to the public from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. on the 21 and 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 22.

This is an opportunity to augment your personal library at great prices while helping the library. All proceeds are used to purchase books and equipment for the library. In 2022, Friends of the Library contributed $10,000 to the Ruby Sisson Library Foundation and Friends for the Library expansion.

If you are a member of Friends of the Library, you are invited to shop early either day, from 9 until 10 a.m.

If you would like to become a Friend of the Library, individual membership is $15, family is $25 and a lifetime membership is $100 per person. Pay at the library or at the door at the book sale. Cash or credit cards are accepted.
