Town of Pagosa Springs

The Fourth of July Parade will be held at 10 a.m. on July 4.

Applications to submit an entry for the parade and the parade route map are available on the town website at https://www.pagosasprings.co.gov/4th-july.

The deadline to submit an entry is Tuesday, June 27, at noon. Late entries will not be accepted. The theme for the parade this year is “Freedom.” Check-in and staging will be held in the high school parking lot beginning at 7 a.m.

Parade entrants will line up on 6th Street and proceed out onto U.S. 160 heading east and then turn south onto Hot Springs Boulevard, ending at Apache Street. Traffic will be diverted around the parade route and spectator viewing is allowed as indicated on the parade route map listed below. There will be no parking along the parade route; additional information will be published at a later date as to when the road closures will occur.

For safety reasons, no items or candy are to be thrown from the entries. Walking participants may hand out items to spectators, which is always appreciated.

The parade is a fun family activity and requires a lot of volunteers from the community to help make it a success every year. If you’re interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Town Hall at (970) 264-4151.
