Arboles will be holding its Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 1, at 10 a.m.
The parade will begin at the Piedra Peak Store and end at the TARA Community Center at 333 Milton Lane.
All local businesses and families are encouraged to attend or participate in the parade. We are hoping for a good turnout this year with a lot of excitement stirring in the community.
Registrations for the parade will be accepted through June 30. There are cash prizes for first, second and third place in the parade.
Activities at TARA following the parade include a bake sale, a barbecue and other fun activities.
Due to the parade, the TARA Thrift Store, Food Pantry, Library and Museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 1.
