The Humane Society of Pagosa Springs will offer a drive-thru, low-cost vaccination event for cats and dogs on Saturday, Sept. 16, from noon to 2 p.m. at its animal shelter located at 465 Cloman Blvd.

This event aims to make it easier for owners to keep their pets and to help prevent the spread of infectious disease in our community’s animals. The event provides access to vital vaccinations that keep beloved pets healthy and happy.

The vaccination prices are as follows.

Dog vaccines:

• Bordetella, $15.

• DA2PP, $15.

• Rabies, $15.

Cat vaccines:

• Rabies, $15.

• FVRCP, $15.

Owners are asked to simply drive through the shelter parking lot, where they will be directed to an on-site veterinarian that will be administering the vaccinations. Pets must remain in the vehicle. All dogs must be on a leash and cats must be placed in a secure carrier while visiting the drive-thru clinic.

This is first-come, first-served event. No appointment is necessary and there are no income or financial requirements. The event is open to everyone in our community.
