“A Charlie Brown Christmas” opens on Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. and plays most days at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. until Dec. 29. The 7 p.m. show on Dec. 17 is already sold out.

Presented by professional Thingamajig Theatre Company in residence at the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, this sweet holiday favorite is perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas” is a musical stage adaptation of the classic animated TV special featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus and the gang discovering the true meaning of Christmas.

Thingamajig Theatre Company, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is supported by grant makers and private donors, felt that this season, especially, professional theater experiences should be even more accessible to our beloved community. With tickets for kids for only $10 and adults for $20, we hope you will join us as we bring to life this holiday classic.

The show stars professional performers from around the country, two local rising young thespians and a crew of incredible scenic artists, costumers, set designer and build team who will bring the show to life. It is a gift that will warm your heart beyond the less-than-an-hour-long experience and well into the holiday season. We recommend that you come early enough to enjoy the decorations and ambiance that marks the Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts as the top destination in Pagosa for getting in the Christmas mood.

‘A Merry Little
Christmas Concert’

“A Merry Little Christmas Concert” plays on Dec. 22, 23 and 26 at 7 p.m. It is a beautiful concert for the holiday season featuring the talent vocalist in Thingamajig’s winter season including featured performances by Trevor Brown and Samantha Luck, who both starred in the 2022 summer season production of “Guys and Dolls.” It will warm the hearts of family members of all ages. Picture you, your family and your friends spending an evening at the exquisitely decorated Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts filling your souls with the magic of the holidays.

Celebrating with joyous comradery of fellow concert goers will be the perfect way to ring in the season. Tickets are $25 for kids and $35 for adults.

‘A Year with Frog
and Toad KIDS’

“A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS” plays Dec. 30 and 31 at 2 p.m and 4 p.m. This whimsical show follows two great friends — the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad — through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Throughout the year, two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.

Based on the beloved children’s books and performed by the students in the Whatchamawhozits Children’s Theatre class, this sweet show is a perfect way to celebrate the new year with your friends and family. Tickets are only $5 for this charming and funny 35-minute telling of these classic stories.
