Santa has begun making stops throughout the area to chat with youngsters about their Christmas wishes and more, including making a stop at last week’s Festival of Trees public viewing at the Ross Aragon Community Center. The event raised $35,000 for local nonprofits (something that will surely land those who contributed on the nice list this season). Those wishing to express their wishes to Santa in writing are invited to bring their letters to The SUN’s office at 457 Lewis St. by noon on Dec. 16. Letters will be sent on to the North Pole and will be shared with the community in the Dec. 22 issue of The SUN.
