Damage from a recent vandalism incident at the county landfill. County Manager Derek Woodman explained at the Aug. 2 Board of County Commissioners work session that a vehicle had been used to pull down the fence surrounding the landfill and multiple items, including a grill and a mattress, had been dumped inside while the landfill was closed on Friday and Saturday, July 29 and 30. He added that the incident was reported to the sheriff’s office.
