Healthy Archuleta, also known as the FSFE — Food Coalition, will host a Community Conversation about “Deepening our Agricultural Roots” through food policy Thursday, June 2, from 2 to 3 p.m.
The conversation will be with Monique Marez, a food systems strategist based in Pueblo.
Marez will discuss Pueblo County’s current comprehensive land-use plan and the role community members played in adding metrics for the local food system.
Marez will also discuss the role policy plays in improving local food access.
