The Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership (GGP) invites the community to an open mic each third Thursday from May through September.

The free event is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Centennial Park at the GGP amphitheater at 80 S. 5th St. The first scheduled open mic will be on May 19.

All forms of family-friendly art and music are encouraged and welcome. A portion of the funds raised during these events will be used to jump-start the future heritage food gardens surrounding the grow domes that celebrate and provide educational opportunities about the traditional plants, foods and cuisines of our indigenous and Hispanic relatives and ancestors that have thrived here for generations.

The GGP is excited to host these free community gatherings to connect spaces in beautiful downtown Pagosa Springs along the San Juan River and to support GGP’s mission of educating the community in sustainable agricultural practices by producing food year-round using local renewable energy.
