Rotary awards $20,000 in scholarships

The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club is proud to announce those students who will be receiving the 2022 Rotary scholarships, which total $20,000. 

Olivia Craig — Craig plans to attend the University of San Francisco to obtain her Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Audrey Martin — Martin will be attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa to obtain a degree in marketing in the Shidler School of Business. 

Davis Parker — Parker plans to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to become a private pilot. 

Rachel Smith — Smith will be attending Cal Poly, Metro State University or the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her field of study will be dependent on the university that she attends. 

Keira Torrez — Torrez plans on attending Tony and Guy Academy to study cosmetology. 

Ebanie Wilkins — Wilkins will be attending Colorado Mesa University to obtain her Bachelor of Science in nursing.

Congratulations to these six scholarship winners.

The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club also congratulates the entire class of 2022 and wishes each of them success in their future endeavors. 

Since 1983, the Pagosa Springs Rotary Club has awarded more than $500,000 ($518,125 to be exact) in scholarships to 192 local high school graduates. The Pagosa Springs Rotary Club would like to thank the Pagosa Springs community for its continued support of Rotary fundraisers that have made our local scholarships possible again this year.
