The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Durango Lodge No. 507, announces local scholarships. Recipients were selected based on leadership accomplishments, academic achievement and financial need.
Durango Elks Lodge Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 will go to Nell Taylor and Rachel Smith, both from Pagosa Springs High School.
The scholarship committee of Durango Elks Lodge No. 507 congratulates all 2022 graduating students and invites upcoming 2023 seniors to apply online for the Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship Contest. Applications are available in the fall and open to all seniors.
