Archuleta County’s Colorado State University (CSU) Extension programs apply and share with the community the academic talent and excellence of the university to the challenges and opportunities of our rural community.

Today’s CSU Extension programs range from youth development 4-H, production agriculture, food system value chains, regional economic development, and Colorado’s varied climates and ecologies.

Come meet and learn with our local CSU Extension Agent Robin Young about the results of the annual community needs assessment conducted in 2021, which determines the priorities around food systems and policy for 2022 in Archuleta County and across Colorado.

Join Healthy Archuleta and CSU Extension on Thursday, March 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. for a community conversation that will help us understand the opportunities that are ahead for building a more equitable and sustainable food system in Archuleta and the surrounding region.
