Earth Day celebration planned for April 23

The Southwest Organization for Sustainability Earth Day planning committee has begun its work and wants the community to save this very important date: April 23.

Our celebration in honor of the planet will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 1 p.m., and will take place along the Riverwalk in Centennial Park; this year roughly between the two foot bridges — unless participation requires that we move further downriver. Everyone is invited — every individual, church, business, nonprofit (does that cover it?) that wishes to celebrate with a booth or table and a giveaway of some type appropriate to the celebration.

And everyone else is invited to come out and stroll the Riverwalk, and greet friends and neighbors and just have a good time on this important day. To register or to join the planning committee, please email your intention to pagosa100percent@gmail.com.
