County to consider changes to short-term rental regs ... again

Demonstrators took to the streets and stopped by the Archuleta County administration building on Monday to protest proposed changes in the county’s Land Use Regulations. The commissioners voted in changes to those regulations on Tuesday; however, due to not posting the hearing 14 days in advance of the meeting, the commissioners will hold the land use hearing again on May 18 at 1:30 p.m.[/caption]

The Archuleta County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) held a Land Use Regulations (LUR) hearing on Tuesday, April 20, during which the board approved Resolution 2021-29, which approved amendments to sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 11.
