Born Aug. 14, 1942, Kathryn grew up in Dyke, Colo., and moved to Durango at 15 years old. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Ann Mason; grandson Logan “Catfish” (Brandi) Mason; and granddaughter River Bell Mason. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Annalee Burster.
