Vehicle accident

At approximately 3:23 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, the Pagosa Fire Protection (PFPD) was called to respond to a vehicle accident involving three cars near the intersection of U.S. 160 and Pike Drive, according to a press release from PFPD Fire Chief Randy Larson. The accident resulted in U.S. 160 being shut down for approximately 45 minutes in order for crews to mitigate fuel and oil leaks, load patients into ambulances and have disabled vehicles towed away. The accident is currently under investigation by law enforcement.
