Born in Kansas, John Christopher Perkins was one of the last truly American Cowboys. Though he ran many businesses, he was a man of the West. He and his wife, Courtney, were living in Florida at the time of his passing. Viewing is at Burns Funeral Home in Perry, Fla. Memorial services have not yet been planned.
