Members of Archuleta School District’s board of education and administration team, along with members of the mill levy override committee for ballot issue 5A, celebrate their victory in the polls at last week’s school board meeting. Mill levy override funds will be used by the district to recruit and retain highly qualified teachers and staff; fund full-time school resource officers for safety; fund full-day kindergarten; and provide required funding for Pagosa Peak Open School to increase staff salaries, supplement full-day kindergarten and improve school safety.[/caption]

As is customary, the 2017-18 fiscal year audit report was presented to the Archuleta School District (ASD) Board of Education at a work session on Dec 12.
