Got drugs? Clean out your medicine cabinet for National Prescription Take Back Day on Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items may be dropped off at 449 San Juan St.
Items which cannot be accepted for take back program are needles and sharps, mercury (thermometers), oxygen containers, chemotherapy/radioactive substances, pressurized canisters and illicit drugs.
The event is hosted locally by the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office.
