The Brockover Fire is burning in the Turkey Springs area next to the Brockover Road (FSR 919). firefighters are battling this human-caused fire that is currently approximately 2 acres in size.
Dry, windy days are causing fuels to dry and the chances for human-caused fires are increasing. The public is advised to be cautious with fire, target practice and cigarettes.
The Horse Fire is also continuing to burn and is over 400 acres.
