Exceptional drought: Stevens Lake down 115 inches from full

According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, the southwest portion of Colorado has been classified as being in “exceptional drought.”

Jim Pringle of the National Weather Service commented on the drought and weather conditions, as well as the lack of monsoon weather in southwest Colorado.
