Tri-County Head Start would like to thank Mardel Gallegos and Rose Salas for their dedication and commitment to serving the children and families of Archuleta County.

Gallegos has decided to retire after 45 years with the program and Salas is retiring after 19 years with the program.

Both have been pillars of early childhood education in Pagosa Springs and for the Tri-County Head Start program. Many families in Pagosa Springs have been nurtured and taught by these educators.

On Saturday, May 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., there will be an open house at the Mardel Gallegos Center to celebrate Gallegos and Salas. Please stop by to wish them well.
