Pagosa Springs Middle School (PSMS) eighth-graders literally hit the trail earlier this month — with spades and shovels. In one day, their hard work helped the Pagosa Ranger District reroute three-quarters of a mile of the Turkey Springs Trail on the San Juan National Forest.
