Ron E. Clark, 69, of Farmington, N.M., passed away on May 9 in Farmington. He was born June 17, 1946, in Durango. Ron graduated from Pagosa Springs High School in 1964. At that time, he began his career in construction. He married Virginia Martinez in 1969 and had four children. He loved watching his grandkids compete in various sports and was their No. 1 fan. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with family and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Nell Clark, and brother Eugene Clark. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Clark; daughter Ronette Smith and her husband, Mike; daughter Rhonda Baxstrom and her husband, Randy; daughter Cherron Adair and her husband, Ricky; and son Ronnie Clark and his wife, Heidi. He is also survived by brother Don Clark and 12 grandchildren: Zachary, Coby, Cheyann, Morgan, Kaleb, Paige, Bence, Avery, Justin, Hunter, Laykyn and Emery.
Memorial services will be held at Cope Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 16, at 10 a.m. in Farmington, N.M. Cope Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
