There are many adjectives that could describe 88-year-old Muriel Cronkhite, but few would put her in the “little old lady” category. Instead, one might describe her as determined, driven, giving, loving, compassionate and absolutely committed to her family, friends, church and community. When she sees a need, she jumps in to help.

Such is the case when it comes to Muriel’s 6-year-old great-grandson, Tyler, who lives in Denver. As an infant, Tyler began having unexplained seizures. Tyler’s parents, both physicians, searched for an explanation, but only could come up with speculations.
