Archuleta School District has seen a net increase in student enrollment for the first time in five years.
With state funding calculated per pupil, the increase could lead to increased funding for the school district.
ASD Superintendent Linda Reed presented the promising upswing at the monthly school board meeting Tuesday evening. Based on October’s enrollment count within the district, there has been an increase of four students over 2013’s enrollment numbers.
