In an emotional hearing Monday, Jared Earley, 30, of Pagosa Springs, was sentenced to probation, jail time and community service after pleading guilty to a charge of vehicular homicide.
The plea stemmed from an early morning vehicle accident on Oct. 1, 2013, in which a New Mexico man, Leslie Paul Terp, died.
