A public meeting conducted by the Water Resources Review Committee of the Colorado Legislature will be held Wednesday Aug. 27, at 6 p.m. at the Durango Public Library.
This meeting will address both the Southwest Basin Implementation Plan and the Colorado Water Plan, with opportunities for discussion by the public and Legislative Review Committee, as well as public testimony on the Colorado Water Plan.
The Aug. 27 meeting will provide an important review and public feedback opportunity that will feed right into taking the Basin Plan from draft to final in April 2015, and for continued Roundtable discussion of issues to be addressed in the Colorado Water Plan.
