The Four Corners Unit (4CU) of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International (WBCCI) convened last weekend on the athletic field adjacent to Town Park, experiencing the beauty of southwest Colorado and opening up their Airstream trailers for public viewing.

The July 17-21 rally was hosted by locals Guiseppe and Maureen Margiotta, who joined the Airstream culture five years ago when they bought and restored a 1969 Globetrotter trailer. The Margiottas, avid outdoor enthusiasts, met a group of Airstream caravaners several years ago while camping, and have been part of the Airstream family ever since.

Guiseppe, along with second vice president for the WBCCI, Richard Girard, sat down early Sunday morning to talk with The SUN about the Airstream community and what they are all about.
