Special to The PREVIEW

The Archuleta County Guard will be conducting its weekly meeting at The Quality Resort on Thursday, May 29, beginning at 6 p.m. The main topic will be Passport Applications: Natural Citizen versus U.S. Citizen.

Five videos will be shown to gain a deeper perspective — a discussion will follow. Updates will also be given regarding other business.

The National Center for Constitutional Studies has published a wonderful study guide to assist those who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the Founders’ Principles of Liberty and the meaning of the Constitution. The broad topics include The Founders’ Search for an Ideal Society and The Making of America. The study will be divided over several weeks with approximately one hour of video and study at each weekly meeting.

There is no charge for this course, however, should you wish to have your own personal study guide, the cost is $20. This Constitutional Studies series begins on Thursday, June 5, at The Quality Resort, at 6 p.m.

The Archuleta County Guard is proud to offer these classes to all citizens wishing to increase their knowledge and understanding of our national heritage. Should you miss a class, the video link will be provided for you to do home study.
