Don is cowboyin’ up with his son, John, in heaven. Jesus has outfitted them for the ultimate eternal ride. Brielle is there ridin’ with her Papa and Uncle John. Don joined them at 1:45 a.m., May 13.He was born in Duncan, Okla., on Dec. 29, 1933, and was a resident of Pagosa Springs for 25 years.
Those left on the trail to meet up with him later are: Carol, his wife of 57 years; his son, Karl Kimsey, wife Tracey and grandson Braden Kimsey; his daughter Karen Hise, husband Glenn, granddaughter Karrie Smith, husband Micah, great-grandchildren Damien, Simeon and Teague Smith, and grandson Nathan Hise; daughter Donnell Boiseart, husband Tom and grandchildren Brooke, Braden and Brody Boiseart; daughter-in-law Denise Kimsey and grandsons Cody and Ty Kimsey; sister June Shepherd; brother Ray and Delores Kimsey; sister Sue Hegeman; brother Terry and Sally Kimsey; brother-in-law Eddie and Patty Baker; along with many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
