A Pagosa Springs native drowned in a work-related accident late Thursday morning, May 1.
Jose Elesio Martinez, better known as JoJo, in his early 50s, was working at a small, private lake off of Perry Drive northwest of Pagosa Springs when the incident occurred, said Detective Jake Beach with the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office.
