The Archuleta County Combined District (ACCD) Board of Directors closed last Friday on a loan refinancing for the dispatch equipment, going from an adjustable-rate loan to a fixed-rate loan.
The length of the loan did not change with the refinancing (it will end in 2021), but the move is expected to save money in the long run by avoiding rate changes every three years.
