Pagosa Springs Town Manager David Mitchem is one of two finalists for the city administrator position in Branson, Mo., according to a story on the website for Branson’s Tri-Lakes News dated Sep. 13.
“David Mitchem is the town manager of the town of Pagosa Springs,” the article elaborated, “a tourist community in southwest Colorado, where his focus was on enhancing the community’s quality of life and creating a business friendly environment. Previously, he served as CEO of the Castle Rock Economic Development Council, and in various positions with the state of Missouri, including executive director of the Missouri Training and Employment Center, deputy director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development, and deputy director of the Missouri Department of Labor.”
