Photos should be original and should not be edited or altered, for example: do not send a collage, do not remove backgrounds, do not delete or add people to the photo. Your photo should be labeled and your email subject should identify what story it should run with. Your news release should include a separate caption that identifies the people in the photo from left to right and should explain what is happening in the photo.
Photos should be saved as a .tif or .jpg at 200 or 300 dpi resolution. Photos should be under 5MB.
By submitting a photo to The Pagosa Springs SUN, you agree to have your name displayed with your photo as a photo credit.
The Pagosa Springs SUN reserves the right to edit all press releases.
