The Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the expansion of the popular steering wheel lock program in partnership with the Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority.
This program provides these auto theft prevention devices free to members of our community. A steering wheel lock is a great device to help increase physical vehicle security.
Pickup of the devices is available at the Archuleta County Sheriff’s Office at 85 Harman Park Drive during normal business hours.
Community members will need to provide a VIN number for each vehicle lock and have proof of insurance.
There is a limit of two steering wheel locks per person.
