San Juan Stargazers
The San Juan Stargazers will be presenting a special program, “All About Eclipses,” at the Ruby Sisson Library for the general public to prepare everyone for the Saturday, Oct. 14, annular eclipse.
The program will be on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Parts of the program will be geared toward elementary students, but people of all ages will benefit from attending. Come learn when, where and how to observe the eclipse.
We will also have the needed solar glasses from the Astronomical League for $2 so you can safely watch.
We want to make certain that everyone knows it is not safe to look (even just sneak a peek) at a solar eclipse without solar glasses.
