San Juan Outdoor Club. 6-8 p.m., PLPOA Clubhouse, 230 Port Ave. Jake Kurweil, associate director of water programs at the Mountain Studies Institute, will give a presentation highlighting the snowtography studies on Jackson Mountain initiated during the winter of 2023-2024. He will discuss the science of snow focusing on the value of snow as a water storage resource. He will present data and an evaluation of the trends in snowpack, current issues impacting snowpack and steps being taken to solve these issues regionally. He will present via Google Meet.
