San Juan Outdoor Club. 6-8 p.m., PLPOA Clubhouse, 230 Port Ave. Hike leaders from the club will present guidelines for safe hiking in the wilderness. The presentation will provide information on outing planning and critical gear to take with you on any hiking activity. Archuleta County Sheriff Mike LeRoux will join the meeting to answer any questions about search and rescue activities conducted by his office and the Upper San Juan Search and Rescue team. Join and learn important information to help you stay found while enjoying our beautiful mountain environs.
