Region 9 Economic Development announces new board members

The Region 9 Economic Development District of Southwest Colorado is happy to welcome several new representatives to its board of directors. 

At the April board meeting, Kat Katsos, trustee, was appointed as the town of Bayfield’s representative. Tom Atencio, trustee, was named the board alternate for the town of Ignacio; Jessica Thurman, economic development coordinator, will serve as the alternate for the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe; and David Harris, Town of Pagosa Springs administrator, will serve as the town’s alternate to the board.

Additionally, Todd Weaver, Archuleta County attorney, was elected to the executive committee.

Region 9’s board is comprised of 26 members, 17 governments (plus alternates) and nine members from the private sector. The board meets quarterly. For more information about the board and its members, please visit www.region9edd.org.
